Recipient Verification is for verifying the TIN and Name for the Recipient. Access to the verification methods are configured per Payer. Verification is required for Payers enrolled in our year-end 1099 processing. If the 1099 delivery method is Mail, an Address should be added for the Recipient.
Recipient's verification status: tin_verification_status
PASS - TIN and Name Verification passed
FAIL - TIN and Name do not match
UNDER_REVIEW - TIN captured, customer service will review
REQUIRED - TIN Verification is required for Recipient
NOT_CAPTURED - TIN not captured and not yet required based on Payer configuration
